“I first began training with David in June of 2006. I was preparing to perform my one-man show of The Godfather and was not anywhere close to being physically ready to perform all the acrobatic requirements of the show; an hour and a half of vaulting over tables, bars and chairs while recreating the film on stage. Through David’s program and his unique approach, I quickly advanced to where I needed to be for the two month run, After that, everything changed. Over the next three years, I endured four spinal operations, including two double fusions, front and back, at the C-5 through C-7 level in my neck. The recovery was long and discouraging. In July of 2009, I came back to David with a mountain of x-rays and MRIs, as well as a dozen screws, rods and plates in my neck. I wanted to perform my show again and I had zero confidence in my ability at that point to do so. David looked everything over and said “I can get you there.” We spent two months training for a two-night performance and it was challenging. Through his core training techniques and use of the TRX system, David pushed me beyond where I thought I could go and with each workout, I grew more confident. On October 16th and 17th of 2009, after a four-year absence, I performed my show again. With David’s physical and spiritual approach, I was once again able to do what I never thought possible.
